A bunny ears knot is a figure 8 knot but with two loops instead of one. It is commonly use to fix a rope to a two bolt anchor. Note that if one of the loops is severed, the whole knot might fail. So make sure to keep it away from sharp edges.
- First tie a figure 8 with an extra long bight of rope, but instead of passing the entire loop through in the last step, pass a bight of the loop through.
- Pass the remaining part of the loop around the knot.
- Snug the loop you passed over on top of the lower two strands.
